Karl Sachsenmaier is Managing Director and Partner of the outsourcing and information technology practice of Eton Partners, LLC. Mr. Sachsenmaier has more than 30 years experience in these fields and has provided leadership to both large multi-national companies and entrepreneurial enterprises. This background provides Mr. Sachsenmaier with a unique perspective when evaluating management talent.

Prior to joining Eton Partners, Mr. Sachsenmaier was President of Global Sales for the EDS Corporation where he developed the sales strategy, team selling concepts, integration with operations and sales cycle structure for their Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) practice. While at EDS, Mr. Sachsenmaier’s team was responsible for growing the business to $500 million annually.

Mr. Sachsenmaier was Vice President and General Manager of Global Sales at Exult, a human resources BPO startup with revenues of $8 million. His sales leadership and innovation helped Exult to achieve a sales win ratio of 75 percent and an annual worth of $450 million in just two years. Prior to Exult, Mr. Sachsenmaier led teams that closed more than $2 billion in new contract value at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and he consulted for three years with British Telecommunications to develop a new outsourcing company.

At PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Sachsenmaier spearheaded a successful new practice focused on assisting large companies in the outsourcing for their back-office functions. Mr. Sachsenmaier founded and sold two companies, Shamrock Automation and Teco Technologies, which provided software to the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, and to utilities, respectively. His career began with IBM Corporation, where he worked his way through the sales organization into executive management.

Mr. Sachsenmaier, who earned two bachelor’s degrees at Clemson University, is active in the Atlanta community. He is chairman of the board of the Alliance Theatre and serves on the executive committee of the Woodruff Arts Center. Additionally, he served for six years on the board of trustees of the Atlanta International School and is involved at The Cathedral of St. Philip.
